WWE TLC 2016 PPV Results: Styles Vs. Ambrose, Ziggler Vs. Miz, Lynch Vs. Bliss

Welcome to the WWE TLC pre-show, and we are live on the WWE Network. Renee Young, Booker T, Peter Rosenberg and Daniel Bryan hyped some of the matches that were taking place on the show. WWE has announced that there would be a ten-man tag team match that will see American Alpha, Apollo Crews, and The Hype Bros take on Curt Hawkins, The Ascension and The Vaudevillians. There were video packages for the Bella vs. Carmella match, Miz vs. Ziggler, and Kalisto vs. Corbin. Natalya replaced Bryan to hype the Lynch – Bliss Tables Match. Natalya thinks that Bliss wins the match. Bliss took fan questions from Tom Phillips.
— Ten-Man Tag Team Title Match: American Alpha, Apollo Crews and The Hype Bros vs. Curt Hawkins, The Ascension, and The Vaudevillians
Hawkins and Crews start things off. Crews caught him with a drop kick then tagged in Ryder. Hawkins tagged out, and Viktor was tagged in. Viktor hit a back elbow and went for a suplex by Ryder reversed and hit a neck breaker. Rawley was tagged in and hit a power slam. English was tagged in and worked over the left arm of English. Things broke down in the ring. American Alpha hit a drop kick to Konnor and sent Gotch to the floor. Everyone started sending their opponents out of the ring and then there was a big brawl.
We’re back from break with Viktor in control of Gable. Moments later, Gable fought back and got the hot tag to Jordan. He hit a suplex to Gotch then a press slam to English. Jordan with a slam to Konnor. Hype Bros hit their finisher on English. American Alpha took out Ascension then Crews hit a suplex to Hawkins out of the ring. American Alpha hit their suplex to Gotch for the win.
Winners: American Alpha, Apollo Crews, and The Hype Bros
Welcome to the TLC PPV event. We get an intro package. We kick things off with the following match….
— SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles Match: Rhyno and Heath Slater © vs. Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt.
Wyatt and Rhyno start things off. They exchange strikes and Rhyno hit a clothesline. Orton and Slater were tagged in. Orton hit a series of kicks, but Slater answered with a heel kick and followed it up with a splash. Orton sent him over the top rope and Wyatt hit a leg sweep. Moments later, Rhyno got the hot tag and hit a series of clotheslines to Wyatt. Rhyno hit a shoulder tackle off the middle rope. Rhyno got out of the ring went for a Gore on Orton but hit Harper instead. Back in the ring, Orton hit an RKO out of nowhere for the win on Rhyno.
Winners: Wyatt and Orton.
Dean Ambrose cut a backstage promo and was asked about James Ellsworth. Ambrose said that he is fine and at home watching tonight’s show. Ambrose said that his temper is his gameplan and said that Styles takes the low road and that there is no easy way to win tonight. Styles was interviewed by Renee Young. Styles said that he knows what kind of damage these matches do to someone’s career. He vowed to retain his title.
— No DQ Match: Nikki Bella vs. Carmella.
Carmella ducked out of the ring, and Bella chased her. They brawled in and out of the ring. Carmella sent her into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Carmella rolled her up and then hit a big clothesline. Carmella suplexed her into the ropes and continued to work her left knee over. Carmella grabbed a kendo stick and hit her several times to it. Bella fought back and grabbed it and hit her several times with it. Carmella sent her to the floor, and Bella sprayed a fire extinguisher into Carmella’s face. Bella the Rack Attack 2.0 for the win.
Winner: Bella.
Post-match, Carmella said that Bella has not even the odds yet. Carmella said that she didn’t attack Bella at Survivor Series because Natalya was the one who attacked her.
Bryan was interviewed backstage and was asked about Miz vs. Ziggler. Bryan said that he wants to see Miz lose tonight because he thinks that Ziggler is a better representative for SmackDown Live. Bryan added that Miz is a star. Miz walked up and said that Bryan finally admitted that he doesn’t like him. Miz wishes that Bryan was in the ring so he could shove him off a ladder. Miz vowed to retain his title.
— Intercontinental Title Ladder Match: The Miz © vs. Dolph Ziggler.
Ziggler went straight for a ladder, and Miz landed a baseball slide. They start brawling at ringside. Miz hit a big boot. Miz knocked him down from behind and then hit him with a ladder in the chest. Miz sent him face first into the ladder. Ziggler reversed a move and sent him into the ring post. Ziggler then hit a DDT onto the ladder to Miz. Ziggler brought in a ladder to the ring, and Miz hit a drop kick. Ziggler placed a ladder on the ropes and knocked Miz down then hit a springboard elbow drop. Ziggler climbed a ladder, but Miz knocked him down. Ziggler answered with a clothesline then sent him to the floor. Ziggler was about to grab the title when Miz knocked him down. Miz hit Ziggler with a ladder, mocked Bryan, then hit a drop kick to Ziggler with the ladder. Ziggler followed up with hitting Miz with the ladder. Ziggler climbed the ladder, but Miz knocked him down. Miz worked over the right knee of Ziggler by using the ladder. Miz climbed the ladder and hung onto the title while Ziggler pushed the ladder over. Miz fell down and sold his knee on the floor. Ziggler climbed the ladder, but Miz got back into the ring and power bombed Ziggler onto a ladder. Both Miz and Ziggler climb separate ladders. They exchanged strikes and Miz fell down. Miz climbed back up and knocked Ziggler down then grabbed the title.
Winner: Miz.
Post-match, Miz cut a promo about how Bryan helped him retain his title by motivating him. Miz said that someone should get Ziggler a participation award and that means that Ziggler is a loser.
— Chairs Match: Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin.
Kalisto tried to him with a steel chair, but Corbin stopped him. Corbin tried to powerbomb him, but Kalisto blocked and hit a drop kick sending Corbin to the floor. Kalito hit an outside dive. Corbin sent him into the barricade and then into a stack of chairs. Corbin sent him into the corner and hit a powerslam for 2. Corbin sent him head first into the corner twice and went to the top rope and hit a dive off the rope to Corbin onto six chairs for 2. Kalisto went for an outside dive, but Corbin caught him and hit Deep 6 on the floor. Back in the ring, Corbin covered him for 2. Corbin tried to hit Kalisto with a chair but kept missing. Kalisto hit a hurricanrana off the barricade then threw a chair at Corbin then landed a drop kick. Kalisto hit a moonsault double knee drop to Corbin with a chair. Corbin hit him with a chair when Kalisto was going for a dive. Corbin hit End of Days to Kalisto onto chairs.
Winner: Corbin.
Natalya cut a promo about the Lynch – Bliss match. She wishes Lynch the best of luck then denied that she attacked Bella at Survivor Series.
— SmackDown Live Women’s Title Tables Match: Becky Lynch © vs. Alexa Bliss.
They start brawling then Lynch went outside the ring to grab a table. Bliss cut her off then started working over the neck of Lynch. Lynch fought back, but Bliss cut her off. She set up a table in the corner then hit a moonsault double knee drop. Bliss tipped the table over and hit a DDT to Lynch on the table. Lynch locked in the Disarmer on the table. Lynch put the ladder on the ropes, went to the top rope but was knocked down by Bliss. Bliss hit a drop kick sending Lynch across the ring. Lynch reversed and sent her head first into a table. There was a table set up on the floor, Lynch missed a baseball slide and power bombed Lynch off the apron through a table.
Winner: Bliss.

Ambrose jumped him to begin the match. Styles fought back and hit him with a steel chair several times. Styles climbed the ladder but Ambrose knocked him down. Ambrose hit Styles in the face with it. Ambrose sent him to the floor and bounced him off a table. Ambrose placed Styles on a table then climbed a ladder but Styles got off the ladder. Ambrose knocked him down from behind. They brawl back to the ring and Styles beats him down with a ladder. There were “Undertaker” chants coming from the crowd. Styles hit a back suplex to Ambrose on a chair then hit him with it several times. Styles suplexed him through a table in the corner. Styles set up two tables outside of the ring and the battled on the top rope but fell down. Ambrose launched Styles to the floor. Ambrose cleared the announce tables then grabbed a ladder and set it up on one of the announce tables. Ambrose hit an elbow drop to Styles onto the table, which broke. Ambrose got into the ring and set up a ladder then began to climb it. Styles got into the ring and hit a forearm shot to Ambrose, which knocked both guys off. Ambrose sent Styles to the floor. Styles hit a reverse DDT to Ambrose. Styles hit a spring 450 Splash to the outside on Ambrose, who was on a table. Styles begins to climb the ladder but James Ellsworth walks down to the ring with a neck brace. Styles knocked him down. Ambrose knocked Styles down then hit a DDT to the ring steps then started climbing the ladder but Styles got into the ring and climbed the ladder. Ambrose sent Styles flying out of the ring. Ellsworth pushes Ambrose off the ladder through a stack of tables. Styles grabbed the title and won the match.
Winner: Styles.
Styles celebrated in the ring to close the show.

Chris Jericho Vs. Seth Rollins Officially Announced For The WWE Roadblock PPV Event

WWE officially announced Monday’s episode of RAW that Chris Jericho would wrestle Seth Rollins at the upcoming Roadblock pay-per-view event.
The WWE Roadblock pay-per-view event takes place on December 18th at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This will be a RAW brand exclusive show and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Here is the updated card for the event:
